Tissues hotel is in a great location and really good value. I liked it so much I've booked again for my second trip to Tirana

This hotel is definitely a bit outdated and smells of cold tobacco because you can smoke in the cafe area on the ground floor. My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights before our flights back home out of Tirana and this hotel provided exactly what we needed. The AC did work in our room. As other reviews mention, the noise of the streets is loud. The hotel was also nice and let us park our car in the parking space at the back of the building. Would recommend this place for a short/transit stay. Location is great.

Short version: it's a reasonably priced small hotel near the centre square of Tirana. It's a bit difficult to find, being down a fairly uninviting side street. Room is clean and modern, with a good vibe. Facilities are basically a free-use coffee machine in the lobby, but otherwise breakfast etc are outside purchase only. There's a decent supermarket not too far away, so there's ample opportunity to pick up something for breakfast to keep in the fridge if you don't feel like finding a cafe in the morning. Most rooms have shared bathroom facilities, so take that on-board before booking. Location is hard to beat, though, since it's a short walk to a number of sights, restaurants and bars, so it's ideally suited to a short trip where you don't want to spend large amounts of time getting from hotel to tourist sight.
