"We loved the halfling house. The overall impression was awe-inspiring, but as we soaked in the little details, the richness just deepened. Nothing failed to transport us to Middle Earth: the architecture, furniture, the curtains, the dishes, the fixtures. Every little decoration tickled me, from the books, to the games, to the light switch plates, to the figurines. Amazing! We watched the LOTR trilogy, cooked some hobbity meals, and dressed up in costumes the host has available for pictures. This trip was one of the coolest things we’ve ever done. "

"Mary was a delight at the front desk. I had to leave by 330 am, and she made sure that she had hot coffee for me! Housekeeping did a fabulous job of getting me any extra items. I’ll stay again if I need a hotel in the area. "
