"We stayed here with our kids (11 and 8) for one night on our way from Osa Peninsula to SJO. We should have stayed longer! We loved hearing about the gardens and tasting the fruit and the home brew. The home cooked meal was great--definitely go for that. The house is a little ways up in the mountains; I would definitely recommend a 4x4 car and a strong constitution, but the views were breathtaking (especially early morning sunrise!). If you are coming from the south, have Todd send directions....

"Binya House was an amazing location that wasn’t too touristy with a ton to do. Debra booked a night tour into the jungle and a day tour to NP Corcovado for us. Erick booked us a snorkeling trip to Caño Island. The house was well suited to our needs. We lived that we could cook meals and do laundry. The air conditioning was a huge plus. The views over Drake Bay were spectacular, and we really loved the diversity of birds that visited the back yard."

"We spent 3 amazing days and nights with JD at his beautiful place. The room is surounded by windows, allowing you to feel like you're sleeping in the jungle, with the monkeys and birds and frogs around you. All in the comfort of probably one of the best beds we've slept in.The breeze is so nice in this property that we never even used the A/C.JD was the most amazing host and we ended up spening a lot of time together, and even had the chance to hear him play his music at a local bar. "Great stay! The management team is exceptional! The house is pretty new and clean. Neighbor houses in the development are pretty close but most of the time we had little or no noise from neighbors. Strongly suggest 4x4 vehicle as the 15 minute drive up from the highway is steep and rough( typical for CR mountain houses). Daily macaw and toucan views from the house and frequent howler monkeys nearby. Definitely would return. Good value for the price. "
