Top South Mountain Hotel Reviews

Atria Hotel and RV McGregor

8/10 Good

"The hotel building and the furniture in my room are on the older side, but everything is very well maintained. That didn’t bother me for a second. What’s important to me is that the room was really clean. Although I would personally prefer hardwood or laminate flooring, the room itself was very well kept. My room key card was easily deactivated after sitting next to my wallet and credit cards, according to the staff. But that’s really irrelevant—they fixed it within a minute without asking any questions. I’m mentioning it only as a note for future guests: keep the key card away from credit cards or other possible sources of magnetism. The newly installed Smart TV, at least I assume it was new, was a little harder to figure out at first. All in all, I strongly recommend this place. Afan P."

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was absolutely incredible. The house was stunningly beautiful, immaculately clean, and came with a very well-stocked kitchen, including a blender! The decor was tasteful and created a cozy atmosphere perfect for a weekend getaway. Our host was incredibly communicative and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this charming little retreat. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

Peaceful Lake Front Home Sleeps 12

10/10 Excellent

"We booked this amazing house and property with a group of eight friends to celebrate my 50th birthday, and it was the perfect place for such a special occasion! The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well stocked with everything we needed, including all the kitchen essentials to prepare meals throughout our stay. The primary bedroom really has to be seen to be appreciated. It’s absolutely huge! The property itself was wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the lakefront access, where we spent time stand-up paddleboarding and fishing. Our host, Gina, was incredibly attentive and responsive and took great care of us throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and would definitely love to come back again soon!Highly recommend this beautiful property for a relaxing getaway or a special celebration."

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay at the property. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our dog enjoyed himself as well. The communication with James was outstanding. Check in and check out were very easy. We did not encounter any issues during our stay. The house was very clean and was exactly what we were looking for instead of staying at a hotel. We would definitely stay at this property again."

Tonkawa Riverfront Retreat: Secluded Oasis, just 20 miles to Baylor/McLane/Silos

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was great. There was only one problem and there wasn’t no curtains on none of the windows or shades so therefore, when the maintenance man came out there, they could see everything that was going on in the house that’s only only issue. I had everything else excellent."

Peaceful cottage nestled in the trees

10/10 Excellent

"To me, this rental captured the good of rural Texas. It was restful. I saw deer and I believe wild turkey in the back woods. The downstairs has an efficient layout. The kitchen area is not large. It has a petite table, but is well stocked and organized. It was a relaxing well decorated space."
