This cabin was located just outside of South Lake Tahoe, it was located in a nice wooded area. It was far enough outside of town that we did not have to deal with people all around us, it was a very busy New Years crowd, yet close enough that we could get into town or to Sierra at Tahoe in about 15 minutes. The Cabin itself was nice and clean, there was plenty of room for my family (wife and 2 kids) and my Mother and Step-Father. The beds, couches, and chairs were all comfortable. Having the washer and dryer was awesome! My only complaint would be that there was not a dining room table for all of us to eat together. There were two "side" tables that looked like they could be joined to form a table but that still didn't look large enough. We had the kids eat at the bar and the adults used the T.V. trays that were provided. That was just a minor inconvenience. Overall everything was great, everything worked and was clean. There were plenty of towels, pots, pans, utensils, and both a keurig and standard coffee maker. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the woodsy type feel and the convenience of being just slightly out of the busy town (15 minutes). There was a store less than 5 minutes away which is where we would go for groceries.
