Very charming, clean and cozy: lovely wood floors, rugs, leather couches, fireplace, granite counter tops in the kitchen. Not too many knick knacks, just enough tasteful items. Coming home to a electric fireplace was convenient, dried wet gloves after snowboarding quickly. Beds and linens were comfy. LR only has basic cable and a DVD player, so bring any old fav DVDs. Master has Roku. Only request, (since after snowboarding we like to chill at home and prefer to cook) is maybe another large stainless pot, couple stainless skillets and sauce pans. Not fond of teflon. Knives could use a quick swipe on a sharpening stone. For coffee, remember Keurig pods, your own french press, espresso maker or make cowboy coffee. If cooking bring condements, olive oil etc. We got hit by a huge storm so having meals at home was convenient, infact many restaurants were closed due to the storm and traffic. I was concerned about the snow but the snow plow does the main road and my AWD Subaru did just fine. My kids shoveled most of the deck, stairs and drive. We probably could have just shoveled a path, but it was good for them. Growing up in Hawaii, we beat as much snow off our boots outside as possible, placed on an old towel of ours near the door. Maybe a boot tray would be nice to protect the wood from moisture?
Thank you so much, we made beautiful family memories.
