"The resort is beautiful and located in top of a small mountain overlooking the city of Sparti and olive groves. It’s an easy drive to town and most local attractions. It is a locally owned hotel and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Demetrios and Gianna and the entire staff were extremely helpful in organizing a large family dinner for 25 and everyone was impressed with the food, the location and staff. We highly recommend the hotel!"

"The location of the hotel is great. It is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The biggest problem however, was that the hotel was poorly staffed. One person was expected to cook, serve, make coffees for all the guests. By the time a coffee was ready the meal was finished. This wasn't the fault of the employee but rather of how they managed their personnel. We had to ask for amenities such as soap, towels, an iron on a regular basis. Our room was not cleaned daily and there were...

"Need a perfect place for R&R? If your answer is YES, the answer is definitely the Alas Resort & Spa. It is at the end of a quiet road near the village of Elia. It is totally self-contained with a sand beach, rocky beach for sunbathing, a fantastic pool with a bar nearby, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful spa. The rooms are great (ours was small but faced the Mediterranean). The staff was totally accommodating and nice. It was a great choice for us and can be for you too."
