Blue Oasis is a large two-story house with a finished basement. The house is about 100 years old and while all essentials have been updated to today's standards, original hardwood flooring, molding, and original doors throughout give it a charm you can't find just anywhere. Enjoy the peaceful blues throughout the house that represent the many shades of Lake Michigan. Access to the house is easiest through the secure back door. You will enter a newly updated kitchen, fully stocked for your cooking needs, and a large walk-in pantry. The master bedroom is off the kitchen with a full bathroom. From the kitchen, you will enter the dining room which is a great gathering space for your family. Next is the spacious, inviting family room. Put your feet up at the end of a beach day and enjoy the 55inch flat screen. From the family room, move through the original glass-paneled doors to the front sitting room. A space that can either be tranquil for the adults or the little kid's space equipped with a kids table and activities.
Make your way upstairs via the family room front stairs or the super-secret kids' staircase (that's what our kids call it) in the kitchen. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms at the front of the house. A full bathroom is located centrally. You can sit and relax, play one of the board games or do a puzzle in the upstairs nook. There is a closet in the hall with a pack n play and toddler mattress if needed. Lastly, at the back of the house is the loft bedroom. It contains the stairs down to the kitchen but still feels very private.
The stairs to the basement area in the dining room. Head on downstairs to find a newly remodeled full bathroom, large and functional laundry room, and the downstairs family room with tv, darts, and new ping pong table.
The house is stocked with kids and adult books, games, and puzzles. A highchair and kids table make meals easier if you have children. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, single-serve, and carafe coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, griddle, blender, and hand mixer as well as all the pots, pans, and bakeware you should need. A large, soft-sided cooler for the beach or picnic is provided as well as picnic table covers.

OUTDOOR SPACE
You'll love the house before even setting foot inside because of the amazing backyard. A privacy fence encloses the space to make it a retreat. A gas grill is provided for your summer BBQ needs. Seating for at least eight is available on the back deck. Plenty of grass to run and play and enjoy the provided lawn games. Finish your day with a fire in the fire pit.
Feel free to park in the garage or in the driveway that will park at least 7 cars. In the garage, there are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, beach floats, beach blankets, bikes (tricycle, kids, and adults), a wagons lawn games, and camping chairs.
If the backyard isn't enough, the front porch is also a peaceful haven. Seating for 5 gives plenty of additional space for you to gather.

THE LOCATION
Blue Oasis is located 5 blocks from downtown. Our kids enjoy the easy 12-minute walk downtown (especially if there is ice cream involved). Before you hit up one of the ice cream shops, enjoy dinner out at one of the many original eateries. The shops of downtown will keep you busy if the weather isn't perfect or the beach isn't your favorite. But if the beach is your favorite, you'll have lots of options with South and North Beaches and little spots scattered along the shore. Kids Corner Park and the Blue Staircase beach access are 6 blocks from the house. Meijer, Walmart, and Aldi are conveniently located 5 minutes by car. Although South Haven has everything you'll need for a great vacation, Southwest Michigan has some other great options in case a day trip is needed.
