「The Casco Bay Inn is currently undergoing some renovation, but this doesn't detract from accessibility or services. The staff is friendly and helpful. Across the street is a brew pub with a light fare menu. A bit further down Rt 1 is a great custard stand; approx. 1/8 mile.
This location is modestly priced and conveniently located to Freeport.

It’s a bit run down and could use some updates, but it only adds to the ambiance. The resort has a lot of lawn space which is great for kids but also we didn’t travel with kids and didn’t feel as though they were everywhere.
