"My two adult children and I enjoyed a comfortable stay in two private bedrooms of the home of the gentleman that owns and lives in the advertised property. He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. The bed I shared with my adult daughter was the most comfortable I slept on during our entire trip. My only concern is that Vrbo had advertised this property to us as an "Entire Home"...

"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

"Our stay at the Wallhouse Apartment 2 was wonderful. The apartment met all our needs. The rooms were of a good size, clean and had air conditioning. The kitchen had full size appliances and was function for cooking and preparing meals. The shower sufficed and had a full size washer. We dried our clothing on the provided line out back. We kept our rental car outside the gate and on close approximate to the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for me and my two kids.

"It was a great place to stay clean friendly on a beautiful island. The host most of all made the trip all the more worthwhile. I decided not to rent because of the left hand driving and I'm glad I did. But the host was there for anything I needed he went beyond the call of duty. I've never had a host who looked after me as much as Glen did. He meet all of my needs each and every day. I can't think of anything else he could of done to make my stay even more pleasant. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm.
They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver.
The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it...
