There’s an Italian restaurant a minute’ walk with other options a 5 minute walk including Columbus for coffee. There’s also a Picard close by as well as many VeloV stations if you wanted to take a bike. Cyclists do seem to be respected and feels less dangerous than in the U.K.. "Hôtel récemment rénové, très propre, calme. Jolie chambre d'un standing supérieur au standard habituel de la chaîne. Juste la déco de la salle de bains peut faire sourire... Prendre sa douche avec des passants dans le visuel mural est assez étonnant ! Nuit courte entre deux trains, nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner. Excellent rapport qualité/prix et étonnamment le site de la chaîne était plus cher, malgré le tarif adhérent."

"Bikube Lyon is great! Very very clean and modern, eco-friendly (normal sized refillable liquid soap and shampoo bottles instead of the tiny individual ones, towel service every other day), a block away from the Metro station, a short drive from the Gare Lyon Part-Dieu, and you can walk to Lyon city centre if you want (2.5 km away). The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Laundry and fitness facilities were easy to use. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful monastery restored! Lovely breakfast included, great bar and restaurant, and lovely to eat and sip in the courtyard. I wasn’t aware when I booked it that it was at the top of the hill… hard to determine on a two-dimensional map! But what a treat to discover it! Easy 5 min walk to the Roman amphitheater, and another 5 min to the Basilica and the funicular to take you down to the old, lively city center. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C (like many European hotels) was not very powerful. But overall a wonderful experience. "
