Super cute bed and breakfast! Convenient location in Sonoma. The property itself seems somewhat older with shifting tiles etc in the bathroom, but kept clean and well maintained. The food was a pleasant surprise, with a delicious table service breakfast and kind staff. I will definitely stay again if I’m back in Sonoma!

Cinnamon Bear was really a great stay. We booked one night and ended up staying another. Staff is only here for the breakfast and part of the day so pay attention to the check in email instructions. Very interesting property with lots of lounge areas and path to the creek. Breakfast was great with omelettes to your order with fruit and juice. We had a king bed that was huge and comfortable. The staff that we met were very friendly and accommodating. If in Sonoma again I think I would choose this place again

I loved everything. The staff was great, the room was thoughtfully laid out and appointed, and the breakfast delicious. There is no 24 hour staff, although there is an emergency number to call. It has central heat and my husband prefers to control the temperature in our room. I was comfortable with the temperature, however.

Room was clean, a little small but just what we needed. The room we chose had a separate entrance that went out to the back porch area, and the breakfast was really nice (fruit salad, veggie omelet, sausage and toast, with orange juice, coffee and tea). The room didn’t have a lot of frills but we were hardly there and the price was great for what was offered. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. The property has lots of places to lounge and sit. The location is only 6 mins driving time from the downtown area and it was quiet in the evening. You can hear cars but it wasn’t noticeable.

Room Condition and Odor Issues During our stay, we encountered a severe problem with our room: there was a terrible odor that made us feel ill. The smell was so overwhelming that we attempted to sleep in our car; unfortunately, that option proved too uncomfortable. As a result, we were only able to remain for one night, despite having reservations for three nights in total. Possible Source of the Odor We suspect that the odor may have originated from a cleaning solution, possibly one used to wash the linens and towels, or from other cleaning products used in the room. Communication with Staff and Refund Issue We reported our concerns to the employee caretaker, who assured us she would inform the owners. She later told us that the owners had agreed to refund us for the two nights we could not stay. We also wrote a note to the staff thanking her for assisting with a refund. However, we have not yet received this refund. Alternative Arrangements Fortunately, we were able to secure reservations at another hotel for the remainder of our vacation. Additional Problems with the Facilities There were several other issues with the room and property. The bathroom towel rack had been removed from the wall, and the shower was in very poor condition. Additionally, the parking lot did not have enough spaces to accommodate all guest vehicles, forcing some guests to park on the street. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this accommodation and would rate it zero stars.

Had a wonderful stay for a couple of days. Lived in ”the cottage” wich was nice. Perfect for a solo traveler. Service and breakfast was great and nice with parking included. The rooms are a little ”old” but i think it had its charm! :)
