"I booked this stay for a birthday getaway for me and a couple of friends. It was so beautiful, the location was amazing just outside of a picturesque village. Everything we could need was provided. 10. Pancinos Guest-House. Modern Apartment in Newmarket High Street

Newmarket

"A clean and well-stocked flat in a very convenient location. Great appliances that all worked. A clean, comfortable bed and comfortable sitting area. Possibly the best VRBO we have encountered. If we had to point out limitations we would say the shower is a little small and it was odd that there were only 3 dinner forks but both would be a little nit-picky considering the overall quality of the flat!"

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...

The Kings Arms Broad Green

8/10 Good

"Big car park. Room was decorated and furnished very tastefully. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. The only negative for this hotel is its proximity to the A120. If you are a light sleeper you can count all the trucks going past at 50mph all through the night. Not the fault of the hotel, but the state of the traffic in the UK."

Holiday Inn Express Colchester by IHG

8/10 Good

"Hotel was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style and there was everything you needed all was tasty. Our bed wasn’t very comfortable it was very firm. The twin room beds were much more comfortable. The rooms and hotel were beautifully kept everywhere was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms with the big walk in shower were great. They only have 1 ev charger and unfortunately it wasn’t working it would have been useful to know that before we arrived. As more people have electric cars now maybe they should email if it’s unavailable so you don’t rely on it. The staff were super helpful explaining where the nearest one was. Also it says on the website food can be ordered up to 21.15 when it was 20:45 which needs to be updated as we were just inside the time when we arrived. It would have been annoying to have to find somewhere had we arrived a little later."
