"Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property."

When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”. "Stayed overnight on a roadtrip. Late check-in (after midnight), no problem. Bed was very comfortable, room was big enough for all four (kids got a cute bunk bed) and very clean. Next day breakfast buffet was good with excellent bacon and eggs. Considering the price of the stay all of this was way above my expectations, would definitely overnight there again on future trips."
