Ski Santa Fe

The staff was good and place was clean. The elevator was broken so I had to climb up to the 5th fl, which was brutal.

We were visiting friends a half block away so this was a great location for us. Route 66 has wonderful shops, cafes, and restaurants within a short walk so there was hardly enough time to check it all out! The room was tasteful and fun. Being on the main street side was not that great noise-wise, but I wore ear plugs, and my wife didn't notice the noise. The keurig did not work but they changed it out within 15 minutes or so of our notification.

Great location. Very close to Old Town and directly across from Sawmill Market- so that in itself made it very convenient. Also close to freeway so easy to get to other places around town. ( but no road noise). Very nice gym and bar area. The restaurant looked cool but we chose to eat in local restaurants. Rated things a 4 because no notice the pool was closed for maintenance for 1 1/2 days of our stay ( in 2026 hotels really need to be more transparent with amenities not being available- this makes a difference when booking, yes but also avoids a partially dissatisfied customer). On the flip side, the gym was amazing- very large and had a nice selection of weights, bikes, treads, and even a yoga space. The balcony furniture needed some updating and stabilization as the chairs did not sit level on the balcony- the table was also wobbly ( neither of these things could have been changed while we were there but worth mentioning ( room 407) so others are aware. The faucet design while unique made it hard to wash your hand as the faucet was set low into the bowl ( to avoid splashing but compromising basic function- still usable but just so consumers know it’s awkward- at least in this particular room- may not be in other rooms. Also the cleaning staff didn’t remove some dirty glasses over a two day period during our stay. Overall, very nice property- staff was wonderful- but at this price point, the little things make a difference.
