「We absolutely would recommend "The Lodge" as your base while visting Stanley.The lodge was beautifully decorated with a quirkiness which we loved.The sunroom with its big windows framed our water views.The viewing platform for seeing the penguins at dusk was just a quick 5 minute stroll from "The Lodge" and we were able to walk around most of the quaint town and explore all its eateries and shops.」

「This was a very lovely house, comfortable, clean and well kept. The location amongst the trees is delightful. Very quiet and relaxing. Our only negative was the shower head - two of us found it quite painful (literally) to stand under. Everything else was wonderful.」

「Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Loved the barrel fire pot on the veranda. Didn't need it, but just lovely to be out there. Great place for an extended family to hang out, beachcombing, fishing or just sitting with a wine and a good book. Its got it all, and all the things you need if the weather gets wild and woolly.....didn't happen in our case. 」

"海が目の前にある最高のロケーションです。午後12時からチェックインできるのもありがたいですね。 レセプションは呼び鈴を押して呼び出すシステムになってます。 宿泊費込みのコンチネンタルブレックファストの注文はチェックインの時にできます。オーダーシートにチェックを入れて、希望の時間に部屋に運んでくれますが、前の日の夜からも運んで来てもらえるのは大変ありがたかったです。パンやシリアルなどの市販品ですが、部屋にトースターも冷蔵庫もコーヒーセットもあるので好きな時間に食べられます。 ちなみに部屋に置いてある飲み物はコーヒー、紅茶各種はもちろん、ミロやココア、カフェオレスティックまであるのには驚きました。 部屋はちょうどいいサイズで、バスルームが広くて使いやすかったです。 ヘアドライヤーもパワフルだし、シャワーノズルは固定ではなく、取り外しできるタイプなのもよかったし、とにかく快適で何も言うことは、ありません。 スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで気持ちよかったです。 ちなみに私が泊まった部屋の窓は、誰でも使える屋外の喫煙所に面してました。 たまにスタッフさんが休憩で使ってることもありましたが、その時はカーテンを閉めておく必要があります。 それ以外は誰も使っていなかったので、全く問題ありませんでした。 "
