Forest Glen Silver Spring Gem - Parking

Summary:

Tucked away on a quiet residential street near Silver Spring and super close to Holy Cross Hospital is our super comfy and sprawling Ranch house. We`re a quick 5 minute walk to Forest Glen Metro Station, hop on the red line metro train and you can be in downtown Washington, D.C. in minutes, exploring all the attractions!



The Space:

The home is perfect for groups, with lots of room to spread out, and plenty of sleeping options, there are also 3 bathrooms for extra comfort. 



 We can sleep a total of 8 guests in three bedrooms;

- Bedroom 1 - King sized bed

- Bedroom 2 - King sized bed

- Bedroom 3 - Two twin sized beds

- Lower Level bedroom - King sized bed. 



Enjoy some family time and gather for dinner, there is a large kitchen that comes complete with all of the essentials to whip up a meal, including a full stove, oven, and dishwasher. 

The living space is bright & open, interactive, and is perfect for groups traveling together hoping to spend some communal time, but still have a slice of seclusion to retreat to after the day`s festivities.



Our lovely house is conducive to decompressing after a day of sightseeing, eating, relaxing, or even getting some work done. Very comfy beds and all of the amenities make this the ideal home base for families or groups coming to visit the city, traveling medical professionals, or just those hoping to take advantage of the city!



Driveway included for secured parking.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire unit. It is not shared.



The Neighborhood:

Silver Spring spring is a wonderfully diverse area, a stone`s throw from the Maryland / District of Columbia line. 

Guests can enjoy a suburban-like retreat while having convenient access to the hustle and bustle of Washington D.C. and Downtown Silver Spring.



Getting Around:

- We are a 7 minute stroll from the Forest Glen Metro Station, which runs the red line. Guests can be at Union Station, Washington D.C. (the hub of the major sights) in 30 minutes (7 stops). 

- The 20 bus can have you in lively downtown Silver Spring in 20 minutes. 

- We are a short 20 minute trip (via public transportation) from the Regal Majestic Theater (IMAX), The American Film Institute, and The Fillmore. 

- We are a 5 minute walk from Holy Cross Hospital, ideal for medical professionals, or out-patient care. 

- There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the house, located at Georgia Ave & Forest Glen Rd. 



There`s an ALDI grocery store around the corner and a Wholefoods closer to downtown Silver spring (10 min drive).

With convenient metro access, it means you`ll have both Maryland and Washington D.C. at your fingertips!



Other Things to Note:

- The fireplace is not operational. 



- Family-friendly amenities such as a Pack 'n Play are available upon request.
