Perfect from start to finish

This property is a true gem. Cheron, the property owner, was communicative and made herself available throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is clean and well appointed. It's a bit off the beaten path, so a car is necessary. But it's a perfect little sanctuary with incredible views.

Beautiful clean comfortable property with a view of the ocean and people kite surfing. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the nearby park with birds and green monkeys. Cheron gave us a warm welcome and her rum punch was the best on the island!

If anything its better than advertised

I would just like to say that our stay was fantastic. Just like the headline states everything was just simply awesome. From location to service everything was on par with a five-star hotel if not better in our opinion. We will not hesitate to book here again the next time we are in Barbados! The property is relatively new and well maintained.

Cheron went out of her way to make us feel at home. The unit is comfortable, clean, well equipped and quiet. We really appreciated having a washing machine that was always available. Appliances in the kitchen all worked well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend them to you.

Beautifully kept apartment

Cheron and Walwen are very welcoming and obviously take great pride in their lovely apartment. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There are some great views of the sea from the balcony and we enjoyed many beach walks at sunrise and sunset. The air conditioning is excellent and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall a lovely stay. Many thanks to you both.

Beautiful apartment, lovely setting and wonderful host

We spent 2 nights at Cheron and Walwen's suite with a beautiful view of the ocean. We love Silver Sands - it's quiet, with plenty of areas to walk along the coast and walking distance to one of our favourite restaurants - Surfer's Bay Beach Bar. The suite itself is beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen and a modern bathroom. Most of all - Cheron is wonderful. So friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this spot for your next stay in beautiful Barbados.

Our hosts were fantastic. Cheron and Walwen made themselves available for anything that we needed. They provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Having such gracious host made this trip even better. The location was also very nice. We were on the more residential side of the island, but we loved it. You could see the beach from the balcony which was great to enjoy every morning with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of Cheron’s delicious rum punch. There is a bus right down the street that took us anywhere we could’ve wanted to go and it felt like we got a better experience than we would have at any type of resort on the other side of the island. My group will definitely be back and this is where we will stay!

Hall of Fame Hosts

We just finished 1 week at Coconut Walk Apartment and could not have asked for a better stay. From the time we landed in Barbados our hosts did everything possible to make our week a memorable one. The unit is spotless, the kitchen is well equipped and the balcony overlooking the beach and the kite surfers was our go to place throughout our stay. Cheron bent over backwards to respond to our every need. We enjoyed great meals at Surfers Bay, Ocean Blue, and of course Cheron’s home cooking, which was amazing. Cheron and Walden are both seasoned hospitality individuals and if there was a Host Hall of Fame they would certainly be in it ! We highly recommend this wonderful home away from home.

15th Anniversary celebrated in Paradise!

Beautiful clean and well-equipped, luxurious apartment on top level of the house in the wonderful location of Silver Sands, close to the town of Oistins. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very large wardrobe with plenty of hanging room as well as drawers. Bathroom has great shower. Amazing view of the ocean (only about 150 feet away ) from the bedroom and living room windows and from the spacious balcony with table and chairs. The hostess, Cheron was amazing! On top of being warm, friendly, and helpful, she had thought of everything and more. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had the most enjoyable and memorable 15th Wedding anniversary, by arranging lots of extra fun surprises when we went to restaurants and other events recommended by her! We have been to many VRBO’s during the last few years and this has been our best experience by far, due to all her personal touches! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We would highly recommend this vacation experience!

Paradise!

Cheron and Walwen, the owners of Coconut walk apartments are two of the most amazing people you will ever have the chance to meet! From the first moment of booking the beautiful apartment, they made us feel like we are family and not clients! Up until this holiday my wife and I always played safe and went into a resort, we decided to try something different in beautiful Barbados and we found Coconut walk apartment. The apartment is wonderful and more than worthy of any 5 stars, the location is in a very beautiful and quiet part of Barbados with a beautiful beach just metres from your front door. Im not sure i can articulate many words to describe how wonderful Cheron and Walwen, your every need is catered for, if you have a problem, they go out of their way to help solve it. Their aim is to make sure you have an experience of a life time, and believe me, that is what you have. Thank you Cheron and thank you Walwen for making our stay with you the best experience we have had yet on an overseas holiday! We will be back and back again after that, this we promise as we have now found our paradise!

A Cozy Home Away From Home

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay at Coconut Walk Apt. From the time we were picked up from the airport by our host, Cheron, she was very kind and attentive. She took us to stop for snacks and a small meal. Once we arrived at the property, it was just as pictured. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms were spacious, with lots of storage space for your clothes and each had an A/C. The bathroom was also fully stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner, cotton swabs, cotton balls, and more. The property does come with the option to order food that is expertly prepared by the hosts, but since we were out and about for Crop Over, we didn't have a chance to take advantage of this. Cheron was kind enough to offer us a meal on the house on one of our days which we graciously accepted, and it was delicious. This property is very close to the airport, which may be a bit far from getting around to other parts of the island, so having a means of transportation would be helpful. We had a driver that we hired for the week. I'm not sure if any public transportation is nearby. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend staying here!

5* all the way!

This was our first time to visit Barbados and I feel like we won the lottery on this location! Cheron is the consumate hostess and was prompt with communications in helping us plan our trip. She picked us up at the airport and was constantly on call and checking in to see if we needed anything. The photos/description are accurate and the accomodations are clean and new. The mattresses are comfortable, the linens of high qualtiy and the towels are plush. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well stocked the kitchen is with (best of all) stainless steel pans and non-stick cookware that was like new. I have never been to a rental that was supplied with so much food & drinks! You will want for nothing as Cheron is anxious to meet every need. She and her husband Walwren are such giving, loving people, we just felt like family. The location for us was ideal with a good mix of local Bajans and the ocean across the street. Please take advantage of the menu that Cheron offers if you want to sample authentic Bajan cuisine! Such a talented lady~ If you're looking for a clean, comfortable seaside experience with nonpariel service, this is the place for you! Silver Sands, Coconut Walk Apartment

Our hosts, Cheron and Walwen, were the most accommodating and friendly people we’ve met! Their apartment was just as described and the area was so peaceful. Cheron fixed us some delicious food, great rum punch, helped us find a nice rental car and pointed us in the right directions for fun. We would definitely go back and we recommend this rental for your next getaway.

Our stay at this beachfront apartment in Barbados was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the space was clean and comfortable, and every detailed made us feel right at home. The host was incredible kind, attentive, and welcoming. The host thought of everything - from sunscreen and moisturizer to delicious cooking and refreshing rum punch upon arrival. The shower felt like a spa experience, and waking up to the sound of the was waves was pure bliss. This wasn't just a stay - it was heartfelt welcome to paradise. Barbados, we will come back and stay at this apartment again for sure.

The best vacation we had

Beautiful Apartment!

This property is one you should not miss !Cheron thinks of everything to make your stay enjoyable…. It is a beautifully presented apartment with two large bedrooms, and the fittings are all first class !Only 2 minutes walk to the beach to watch the kite surfing and a 3/4 minute walk to take the bus into Oistins or Bridgetown….. Cheron will also make you delicious food to order which you can eat on the terrace overlooking the nature reserve and beach . One night stay

Our host Cheron truly understands the essence of hospitality. Although we stayed for just one night, she ensured that we had everything we could possibly need, even going so far as to bring us groceries for breakfast. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is perfectly equipped for an extended stay, featuring all the modern conveniences one could desire. An experience to remember!

We stayed at Cheron and Walwens place for 9 days during our honeymoon. It was the best experience we have ever had at a VRBO. Communication and check in with Cheron was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. Cheron welcomed us with delicious rum punch and fresh cut plants from her beautiful garden. Cheron kept in touch the entire time and would routinely update us on WhatsApp where to go during the day and also places to park if going into town. As others have mentioned it’s a bit outside the touristy areas but we actually enjoyed that aspect. We rented a car and had no problem getting to any of the activities we had planned and it was nice to come home to a quiet place outside the hustle and bustle. We are already missing drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise over the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in Strandnähe, ruhige Lage

Wir waren im November 2024 in der sehr schön eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Vom Balkon hatten wir einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Bilder des Vermieters sind sehr aussagekräftig, sie vermittelten uns vorab einen sehr guten Eindruck von dem Objekt und sie haben sich bestätigt. Die Vermieterin, Cheron, wohnt im gleichen Haus. Sie ist sehr bemüht und kümmert sich um ihre Gäste. Das Angebot hält was es verspricht, wer die Beschreibung genau liest, wird keine Überraschungen erleben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können dieses Angebot nur weiter empfehlen. Ute & Uwe aus M-V
