"My biggest complaint was the initial communication and cleanliness. Communication is that this property is managed by a real estate company who list it on VRBO but doesn't use VRBO for any of its initial communication. They sent an email with the details that sadly went into my spam folder. It was sorted after we got there but would be nice to get a follow up VRBO message or a reach out the day before telling to look for this. I dislike the third-party listing as it seems misrepresented with VRBO's policy. The second issue was when we arrived the place didn't seem like it had been clean sufficiently. There was a note from a prior guest thanking the owners and the place seemed like it needed a good thorough cleaning. Curtains were stained, the toilet had some hair leftover in it, and the floor/bathrooms where suspiciously mold looking. Our checkin and the cleanliness was what tanked the review. The place was amazing and was overall pleased with the surrounding area. "

"House perfectly accommodated are party of 12 for a week. Kitchen is a dream and fridge easily fit a week’s worth of groceries for our group. Two dishwashers and washing machines made clean up easy. Everything was comfortable, beds, couches, outdoor furniture, and thoughtful, like basket of blankets for cooler mornings and evenings on the decks."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house and excellent location! House had several things not working or worn out or they broke while we were there. The customer service was excellent and they fixed some problems and offered replacements for some others. They were very responsive and easy to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed the beachfront decks and were entertained almost daily with pods of dolphin performing for us and the thrill of the Navy jets flying by! Nature is very present on SGI and the beaches of clean, full of shells and shore birds fishing! This was the perfect house for enjoying nature and the beach during the day and playing cards together in the evenings. Beds are super comfy and we enjoyed using the elevator! I highly recommend this lovely house!"

"This was a Family Vacation. Grandparents, Parents, Kids, Aunts and Uncles. This home is perfect. A little older and a little wear and tear, but very clean, beautiful, comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay. Staff was wonderful. Location was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely stay here again if it's available for our next family beach trip! Thanks so much! Oh and the beach rental voucher and the company that fulfilled it was SPOT on! Such a great addition to our trip! Easy-Peasy! Loved it!"

"Amazing!! We come to SGI every Labor Day weekend and this is our new favorite! It had everything we needed for 4 familes with kids ranging from 10 months to 13 yrs old. Soo close to the beach was great for easy acces and quick naps for the little ones. Five stars!!"

"The house was nice. The pool nice and clean. Easy access to the beach. The A/C worked great. The WI-FI only worked about 25% of the time. The furniture needs to be updated- especially the mattresses and kitchen appliances. Also, guests need to know that the main floor is the 3rd floor. . . lots and lots of steps! The neighborhood was awesome however the house is very far from the gate and island restaurants."
