"The house was ideally located in town and well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay. While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. "We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. "We enjoyed our night here as we explored Northern Iceland. I was concerned that it might feel really tight with 6 adults - and it probably would have for a longer stay, but for a quick overnight or a longer stay for a family with kids (who would enjoy the small playground), it's great. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous."
