A friendly hotel.

Conveniently located hotel staffed by friendly welcoming people, but unfortunately there isn’t anywhere in the lobby to sit, all the chairs appeared to be occupied by non guests. Fortunately we were allocated a very spacious room which helped to enhance our stay. Breakfast was reasonably, enough to eat but unfortunately all the “hot “ food was stone cold; for some inexplicable reason all the containers were left open. Overall I would recommend this hotel due to the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.

It's an old hotel but still in a good condition. WiFi is good and fast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Except there are no sockets beside the bed. Only one socket below the tv, so you have to charge your phone far from the bed.

I reserved 2 rooms. The rooms I got were on 2 different floors. Both had no air on when we arrived therefore they were very hot. They also smelled musty. The hotel in in the middle of the city and is quite old. Difficult to sleep with birds outside the window nesting. Was to stay 3 days and checked out after 1 night. Would not recommend.

Despite our early booking, the hotel was not expecting us, so we had to provide documentary evidence. Got fed up of requesting toilet tissues, so ending up buying our own.The bedroom was clean, but the bath/ shower cubicle is in dire need of a refurb. The staff are polite but unfriendly; an occasional smile would have been welcomed. This was our 4th time there, and probably our last.

Sarawak Tour

The staff were quite surly at times and not at all helpful. They ran out of bread at breakfast and made no attempt to rectify the problem. On check out they directed us to the lift that took us to the 2nd floor and then suggested I carry a heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs to the carpark. It wasn’t until I reminded them that a staff lift went directly to the 3rd floor parking area and again reluctantly they offered the services of one of the staff to assist us. I was not at all impressed!

Room is spacious and comfortable. Suggest some extra amenities such as bedroom slipper, toothbrush, iron and ironing board, more sockets in the room. Generally I like the room which is comfortable and clean.

悪くは無いけどコストパフォーマンスが良くない。

12Fのエグゼクティブスイートに宿泊。 メリットはロケーションが良く夜市、市場、ローカルバス乗り場、ボート乗り場、観光案内所、道教寺院、メソジスト教会、イベント広場に近い事が挙げられます。部屋は老朽化が否めませんが清掃は行き届いており、風呂の水圧と温度も十二分すぎるほど出ますので不満はありません。 デメリットは、どの部屋になっても羨望は期待できない事で、リバービューには正面にビルがあるために見通しが悪く殆ど川は見えません。シティービューは住宅街のため夜は真っ暗。リバービューを予約したのにシティービューにされてしまい、部屋を変えて貰おうとも思いましたが、どちらでもさほど変わらないので、そのままにしました。あえて言えばシティービューのほうが地平線が見えて良いです。 部屋はトイレのひとつが中々綺麗に流れない点、外出すると冷蔵庫とクーラーの電源も落ちてしまう点、アメニティーがシャンプーと石鹸くらいしかなく歯ブラシすら無い点、バスローブがない、グラスがない等々、スイートなのに無い無い尽くしでした。また、バスルームは手すりや手を付く所がなく浴槽からの出入りに滑り易く怖かったです。テレビが2台ありますが、部屋の大きさに対して小さく見づらいです。 最も困ったことはコンセントが全く無い事で、使いにくい場所や実質使えない場所にしかないです。ベッドサイドにもありません。Wi-Fiはチェックイン時にワンタイムパスワードを発行してもらえますが、発行から4時間以内に1度ログインしてアクティベートしないと使えなくなります。しかし回線が遅く電波も不安定で途切れ途切れ、なかなか繋がらない間に無効になってしまいました。かなり不安定です。 朝食ビュッフェは8時前に行ったら殆ど残っていませんでした。小規模ながらも料理の種類は一通り揃っていますが余り洗練された味ではなく、よく言えば家庭的な味。残念なことは温かい料理が冷たかったりぬるい事で、開店直後に行くとアツアツなのかも？夕食も味のレベルに差があるとは思えませんが、ホテルのメニューにしては割安です。 ホテルというよりアットホームな旅館の雰囲気があり、随所にスタッフの手作り感を感じ、省エネの努力もあり、スタッフの心遣いも決して悪いわけではありませんが、コストパフォーマンスは残念ながら悪いと言わざるを得ません。あと３割安いとお得感があるのですが。

Arrived about 10am but was only allowed to check in after 3pm . Reasonable hotel close to many restaurant and shops.

Second enjoyable trip to Sarawak.

we liked Sibu a lot.this was our second visit. The hotel was just fine.The food available in the restaurant was good and very good value. Breakfasts a wide variety of local and international food, very tasty. Good service all round.

Old Suite

Stay 1 night at their suites Pros : 1. Nice, comfortable lounge at the living room 2. Nice river view (My suites was at 9th floor) direct from my bed 3. Privacy. You cant hear anything except yourself. Most probaly due to its situated at higher floor Conts : 1. Old suites 2. Small bathroom 3. Faulty aircond (Inside the bedroom) 4. Poor maintaince for door / door lock 5. Old, faded, torn furniture Overall, the staff is very helpful. Has stayed here before at Deluxe Room which has a huge bathroom with bath tub and river view!!

Hotel in zentraler Lage

Egal wo man in Sibu rumläuft, das Hotel ist immer in Sichtweite, Hafen/Jetty ist fußläufig erreichbar, ein paar nette Restaurants sind in der Nähe, Zimmer sind teilweise renovierungsbedürftig, aber relativ groß. Service beim Frühstück ist unterdurchschnittlich.

daily WiFi login and pwd required - fonts on cash register-like slips are often faded and small and timed out within a couple of hrs if not used. Ended up having to request for new slips constantly.
