「We have stayed here twice and booked again for next year. Its a lovely house, close to all amenities, very clean and tidy.A couple of issues. No room for our recycling in the bins and rug in the front room was dangerous. 3 of us spilt hot drinks when we went to sit down on the sofe and it slid and knocked us off our feet.But we love it Thank you」

「We booked this for just one night. It cost just under 400 and it sounded fab. We opened the door on arrival and the smell of Indian food hit us like a brick wall. We had to leave all windows and doors open for hours. It was grimy and sticky and the cutlery and cups were filthy with food still stuck to them. The cups were smeared with brown marks inside. Two of the beds were brick hard. The floors and doors squeaked so badly and we could hear the neighbours doors opening and closing next door....

「We stayed at the Old Pumping Station whilst visiting family. Such an unusual building, refurbished to include a lot of original features. Very comfortable and a lovely location with a field opposite to walk our dog. Ideal. The host has thought of all the things to make it a home from home. It's small, but has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area.」

「Got there with 3 hot and tired children (long car journey) and my 70 year old mum only to find theyd cancelled our booking. I received no communication of this. My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. We booked through hotels.com and still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. We ended up in a quadruple room in the Travel lodge (at our own expense) this was not the family...
