A great place to stay. Straight across from the train station and surrounded by hundreds of shops and restaurants. Tram and bus stops right outside, so it is very convenient for sightseeing.
Great view of Sakurajima from the lobby window.
Room was smallish but functional and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. Another one I will definitely return to .

I saw beautiful ocean view right from my room. Spa was also very nice. One inside and another outside.(of course it was covered!) I truly enjoyed my stay here. Only drawback is around Ibusuki station, business is dead, many stores are closed, kind of depressing to see. Hope they do a better job to draw more people. Nature is great here.

Onsen was very good. The dinner was what you expect in a Ryokan (excellent). Breakfast was great but the same for all 3 days. Not many coffee shops or restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and Japanese style. Fresh yukata every day. We would come back again if we came this way.

Highly recommend, the hot spring is the best. They don’t use recycle water. Perfect view in the area. I will definitely come back again to Kagoshima area just for this hotel.

I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years.
This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited.
The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH.
I will return for another week at this hotel in April.

Great location right next to Kagoshima-Chuo Station, very convenient and clean hotel with polite staff. However, the full-size bed was quite uncomfortable—the mattress felt uneven and not level, which made it hard to sleep well. Good for location, but bedding needs improvement.
