This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay.

I was surprised to find there was no shower/bath in my room and that it was necessary to shower in the communal onsen. For the very high weekend rate of the room, I expected more. However, the staff in the restaurant were attentive to all dietary restrictions and remembered them for each meal.
