"It was nice location, very near from a tram/bus station and city center of Dogo and Matsuyama. There are some supermarkets, onsens and post office in 15-minutes walk. The accommodation itself was just a house and it's located in the residential area so it was very quiet. 住宅地のど真ん中にあり、普通の民家でした。いい意味でも悪い意味でも「暮らすため」の家ですので、羽目を外し過ぎないよう、泊る側は気を遣う必要があるかと思います。でもその分、キッチンや洗濯機があり、長逗留や、松山に土地勘のある人なら、価値を利用し尽くせる滞在場所と言えるかと思います。 "

The home itself has so much history and these wonderful little notes about the renovation process. Dani also was very good at explaining how everything in the house worked from appliances to water heating. We played Famicom for hours it was just too fun. "Lovely staff. The policies? Truly one of a kind. We stayed two nights (Oct 22–24). First, sincere thanks to our front desk staff member: polite, patient, and he truly did his best with every request. He deserves a better rulebook. As for the hotel: in 10+ Japanese hotels, we've never seen anything like it. • It turned a brand-new building into a garbage-themed experience. There's no room cleaning on 2–3 night stays. Instead, the hotel asks guests to leave garbage outside their doors for pickup by noon, so the hallways end up messy. There was also a strange smell, only in the hallways. Surely just a coincidence. • It taught us a new skill: shipping our own luggage. Every other hotel we've used in Japan sent our bags by takkyubin. Here, we carried our suitcases to a convenience store at night, in the rain. Very authentic. At least the front desk gave us an umbrella. He really tried his best to help, so this is clearly a policy problem, not a staff one. • And one elevator for 9 floors and around 88 rooms. To be fair, the rooms were clean and in good condition, and compared to other hotels nearby, the price was a steal. For that, I'd pick it again. You get what you pay for. Bottom line: a good hotel if you don't need luggage forwarding and can live with a few mild inconveniences."

"great hotel that really, really loves QR codes We stayed one night (Oct 21–22), and I have never scanned so many QR codes in my life. This hotel has gone all in on high tech: check-in, the Wi-Fi, breakfast, check-out, even the door to your room, all QR codes. Check-in, to be fair, wasn't any faster than a normal front desk. Thankfully, there's a staff member on hand to rescue people like me when the self check-in wins. If you're not used to this kind of setup, it can turn into a bit of a workout. Now the important part: everything else is genuinely great. The quality is great throughout and the scenery is beautiful. The room also has a Bluetooth speaker, which is a great thing to have: beautifully designed, with great sound. Put on some music after a day of exploring and it's easy to relax. Once you're done scanning, it's a lovely place to stay. Recommended. Just bring a charged phone and a little patience. I wanted to give it full marks, but some of the points are still scanning."

"Really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to walk across the street from the station and be in the hotel. Excellent supermarket (ACE) across the street. Airport bus behind the train station. Tourist information also there. The hotel had a coffee machine downstairs as well as various packets of bath salts, lotion etc. Highly recommend!!"

"We loved all of the amenities of this hotel. There is a room with two massage chairs for guests to use, of course the onsen which was lovely. They offer free ice cream or popsicles in the afternoon. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Good location. An easy walk to the castles and restaurants."

"Had an enjoyable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in and check-out process were very smooth with the kiosks and staff was available if I needed any assistance. Loved the public bath and the amenities. Everything was clean and service was great. Was never disturbed and any service was done quickly! Highly recommend! I would definitely consider continuing staying at a Dormy property in any future trips to Japan"
