気になった点 : 清潔度

The whole house smelled extremely musty. We could not get rid of the bad smell. It took three days with windows open and fans blowing to stop coughing. One bedroom was infested with insects - big black ants in the hundreds. Owner asked me to go to Canadian Tire and buy bug spray which now filled the room with pesticide. I had to sweep up the bugs and dump them outside six times and they still kept coming. There was a thick mat of dog hair under that bed and hair on the couch. The owner told me to turn on the air conditioning to help with the smell. The shower in one bathroom was broken so five adults used one bathroom to shower. I asked for compensation for buying insecticide and sweeping/washing the floors several times to rid of insects. NO REPLY!!!! I asked her to have someone local to help in these situations. The New Brunswick Season Pass that was left for us was expired. I am 72 and recovering from heart surgery. I wanted to move to a hotel but couldn’t afford it. I asked twice for compensation and the owner would not reply. This property could be lovely but is a zero and a health hazard.

Family time in Shediac

We stayed in Shediac for a week. The vacation home is spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located for grocery shopping and activities in downtown Shediac. There is a large rear patio ideal for a family barbeque.Relative supplies: there were no face cloths; few small garbage bags for compost; no filters for the coffee maker; no dishwasher detergent tabs; shortage of toilet paper. Beyond these shortages, we enjoyed our time there.
