Cozy Cabin for Summer & Winter Fun

  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Summer or winter you are sure to have fun. Shaver Lake is a short drive (or medium hike) away, Huntington Lake is further up the mountain, and China Peak Ski Resort is around the corner. In the winter enjoy snow shoeing, snow mobiling, cross country and downhill skiing, and building snowmen. In the summer, you can hike hundreds of miles of trails, do water sports, or just sit on the deck and listen to the stream.

We were not there to ski. It was great for our family stay. Had everything we needed. Close to our dinner spot and a short drive to play in the snow.

This is a three bedroom unit in the back of Bretz Mill that's very retro 90s. The kitchen is well equipped if you'd like to cook meals. We were a party of three, two adults and one teenager. The deck is wonderful and oversized, which is great because there's no one behind you except for wildlife. We saw deer, squirrels, several species of hawk, a weasel, and quail, just to name a few. The master suite was comfortable, and the two secondary bedrooms are roomy with big beds. Close to Shaver Lake and only 30 minutes from Huntington Lake and Dinkey Creek in the summer. We will be back.
