The hosts were great at communicating with us, and Timo was extremely helpful and easy going.We didn't want to leave and would certainly hope...

There is no on-site parking (as stated on the page) and when I queried was told there is plenty of street parking, but during our stay (late August) we found it difficult to get parking in the street and with our disabled child this was quiet inconvenience....

"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"Overnight stay in Bournemouth - staff were great, location was perfect, yummy breakfast, bedroom was a good size & relatively quiet. Hotel a little tired which is sad as it’s such a beautiful building, but we enjoyed our stay at a very reasonable price."

"We stopped from 7th July to 11th July this year 2025. We had a lovely break in the Durley Dean, its clean and tidy and the staff are first class, very friendly. Ok its dated but its Victorian. The bus stops are 200 yards away from the hotel entrance in the direction of Bournemouth and the buses are frequent to lots of local towns and resorts. We were out every day going to somewhere. Swanage, Poole, Westbourne and Christchurch. We would go again. Thank you Durley Dean"
