"The hotel was in a perfect location, right by the lake with a lovely walk by the lake to the old Town. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was superb with amazing fresh bread, you could smell from the 5th floor. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was a lovely space to have a leisurely breakfast "

"Our stay at The Black Bass in September was superb. The staff were so friendly and polite, and couldn't do more to make us comfortable. Our room was lovely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The outside area on the lakeside was stunning. We sat here everyday, enjoying food and wine, and taking in the breathtaking views. We used the spa too, which again was very good, clean and quiet. We cannot wait to return. "

"Everything was fine, just a small problem starting the heating. Thanks to Alexandre for coming quickly to help me. The restart attempt was not very conclusive. A technician was supposed to come the next day. During the night the heating started up again and unblocked itself. Otherwise, good stay, perfect place. "Great hostel. The staff is very friendly and made me feel welcome. Hostel location is convenient for walking into the city or taking the bus. It’s also very close to the beach. Continental breakfast is decent and the view from the breakfast area is great. The actual room is basic and a bit small and wifi only worked for me in the common area by the reception. For the price, it’s a great option to explore the beautiful town of Annecy and I would definitely stay there again. "
