The property was clean, modern, and beautifully tucked into the neighborhood. Very classy. Very close to the train station for our brief overnight stay on our way to the airport early the next morning. Pleasant and quiet pool area. Saw enough to want to return here for a longer stay.
Noise was a factor:
1) arriving guests enter rooms through an enclosed foyer shared by (10?) rooms with no furnishing to help deaden echoing noise of closing doors and people that often also rattled our own door. Could have been more of a disruption for us than it turned out to be as guest arrivals weren't many, and weren't late-returning or boisterous;
2) our room happen to have a Heat/air unit that created strange, intermittent, and disruptive clamoring noises that we discovered only after we went to bed when it was too late to resolve. My wife particularly had a difficult time sleeping. (Reported to hotel)
We wouldn't let our noise experience prevent us from definitely giving this hotel a second stay.
