Summary:
This place is the real deal! Welcome to The Real McCoy, a stunning retreat that caters to those who value off-the-beaten-path experiences. The property boasts stunning views, custom carpentry, and thoughtful additions that allow you to instantly transition into vacation mode.

The Space:
The home is a mix between a bonafide cabin and a treehouse. The floor-to-ceiling wooden planks create an organic and warm ambiance, while the views trick you to feel like you’re a bird hanging among the treetops.

We have a feeling you’ll be spending a ton of time on one of the decks, and we don’t blame you - the views are incredible! Grab a morning brew and current book, take a seat on one of the rocking chairs, and relish in the tranquility and rich landscape.

Back inside, the living room highlights peaked ceilings, large windows, ample seating, and deck access. Cozy up on the couch or chaise lounge and continue watching one of your shows via the Smart TV. The fireplace is the cherry on top for peak relaxation.

Steps away, the kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a blender, toaster, coffee maker, and other kitchenware for your convenience. Between the appliances and grill outside, there’s not a bad meal to be had! Sit and enjoy meals together at the dining table inside or head outside to dine al fresco!

The home sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably between 3 bedrooms with King size beds and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Bedrooms #1 and #2 offer private en-suites and Bedroom #3 offers a Jack and Jill style bathroom.

Bathroom #1 features a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Bathroom #2 has a walk-in shower and Bathroom #3 is equipped with a shower/tub combo to accommodate all guests.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- There is parking space for up to 3 vehicles in the private paved roundabout driveway in front of the home.
- Pool located off-site at The Honeysuckle Pool & Deli. (open and available for guest use Memorial Day through Labor Day)
- 4WD/traction control may be required in winter months.
- TVs are streaming only. Cable/Satellite TV is not provided.
- The fireplace is seasonal and available for use from October through March.

The property is located in the rural part of Sevierville, a city in east Tennessee that is popular for its authentic downtown (14 miles), shopping options, and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (15 miles). Famous country singer, Dolly Parton, was born in Sevier County, making it a monumental place for devoted fans to visit. Dollywood, a family theme park jointly owned by Parton is located under 10 miles from the home. If you’re looking to shop till you drop, the town and surrounding areas are dotted with galleries, boutiques, antique malls, flea markets, and so much more! Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, seeking out the best southern BBQ, or just wingin’ it, you’re sure to make lasting memories in Sevierville!

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee.

Locked out

We reached out to the property manager on the VRBO app 3 times asking for the code to the rental. There was never an email with instructions sent and we checked spam, trash, inbox,etc. We had groceries that needed to be put away. I ended up replying to a text that asked us to sign a contract before we could check in. They have us a code to try. Also there was no water pressure in the house. We couldn’t shower or wash clothes.

Spectacular views!

We stayed at the property for 5 days. When we opened the door we could not get over the view we were seeing through the back of the home. It was the most amazing views of the mountains we have ever seen. The house was equipped with everything you could think of and my family had the best time. Would highly recommend and will stay again next time in Tennessee!

A Gem of a Cabin

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in a secluded location, the cabin had a perfect balance between privacy and convenience. It’s just a short drive to all the local activities, yet remote enough to feel like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking view of the mountains. Every morning, I was greeted with a panorama that seemed straight out of a postcard. Loved sitting on the swing drinking morning coffee. The cabin itself is impressively spacious. Each room is generously sized, allowing for plenty of movement and relaxation. The living area, with its large windows, perfectly frames the mountain vistas, making it a delightful place to unwind. The bedrooms are comfortable ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventures. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary supplies to cook meals, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Cleanliness is evidently a top priority here. The cabin was clean and tidy upon our arrival. While the cabin was fantastic, a few minor improvements could enhance the experience even further. The bureau drawers on the main level bedroom could use some adjusting, and the shower on the main level could use some fresh caulking. Additionally, one of the pool sticks was damaged and needs to be fixed. However, it was still very nice to have the pool table and the video games available for entertainment.

Wonderful Property!

We had a great time at this cabin! Everything was clean and just as advertised. The views were incredible, we spent hours out on the deck just taking in the beauty of the area. We felt so close to everything while also being secluded in our own little paradise. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others, and we would absolutely love to stay again in the future!

Great customers service

Went for the rod run. Choose to stsy out of town this time. Well worth it. Got a message about early check in. Great, but took a little bit for it to happen. Got there called the number. Person on the other end not really sure what to do but very nice, very helpful. Took a lityle longer the i expected to get it done but it got done. Bar B Q trashed. Message customers service late fridsy night. Did not think with it being a weekend it would not be taken care of till monday. Nope they had a new grill at the property by dinner time next day. Check out was easy. Other properties we have stayed at have a check list a mile long. So nuce just to do basic things like take out trash start dishwasher. Didnt feel as rushed. Will definitely go again.

Great Place To Stay

We stayed at the Real McCoy during the week of Thanksgiving and loved it. It’s a beautiful cabin and laid out perfectly with bedrooms and bathrooms on every floor to give everyone privacy. The kitchen is so well equipped and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was perfect with an amazing view of the mountains and city lights. There are tvs in every room and a fireplace in the living room that makes the whole cabin feel cozy. They had even left us a huge welcome basket with a ton of goodies in it for Thanksgiving, We loved it there and will definitely stay again in the future. We highly recommend it to other families!

Smokey Mountain Vacay

Great family trip to Dollywood, The Island, Cades Cove, Abrams Falls, Clingmans Dome and Laurel Falls. The Real McCoy was in a great location to reach all of these destinations. Multiple levels of cabin allowed everyone to spread out. Added bonus was 3 king size beds. Only negative is quality of water. It has a metallic taste and smell. Recommend bottled water for cooking and drinking.

Great property!

Great house with great views! Can't beat the location. Multiple decks. Super comfortable furniture and tvs in all rooms. It is up the mountain, so the drive up/down isn't for everyone. Our stay was great. A couple minor things, but nothing that couldn't get worked out. Property was good at communicating. Definitely recommend if you want to visit the Pigeon Forge area and stay away from all the craziness. Talking to the Property management team about payment was unfortunately super frustrating. Long story, where we had to split the payment and the one making the payment wasn't the "renter." One person and I can't remember his name was super helpful. Everyone else seemed to not be on the same page and said different things. Got it worked out within a day.

Amazing View!

Love the privacy of this property and the view is incredible. Photography is my hobby and sunrise and mountain gradients were amazing. The pictures online didn’t do the scenery justice. The cleanliness could have been improved some for the price you pay but I would stay here again.

Beautiful property! Winding roads, close proximity to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Issues with master bedroom tv connection, called was fixed next day. Third day in, we had no hot water. Made contact in the morning and had hot water that evening. Would have been nice to have been notified when the issue was taken care of, instead of us having to make a call to them prior to returning to property. Overall we were very happy with property, would stay again!

Wonderful cabin!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was immaculate and very comfortable. THE VIEW is to die for!! We had to contact them regarding a very small matter and they were responsive and quick to get the matter settled, which is very appreciated! Would stay again!!
