Room and common areas are clean. Room was updated. Sink drain seemed to have been backed up water took some time to go down and air conditioner wasn’t cooling the room but thankfully I can open the window. But being next to the airport it was loud with window open. Only stayed there for our last day in California for an early morning flight. For our purpose the stay was satisfactory.

After a long hiatus, the Hunington is back, and thanks to the owners and Ken Faulk, the property is as it was in 1980 but with the addition of a lobby bar and understated elegance in the all new rooms and interiors. The Big Four looks like it was never touched. I never imagined an old hotel that everyone loved could have been brought back so elegantly.

The breakfast is excellent. Warm food, waffles, and oatmeal. The room was very (!) small. Not even a table or a chair did fit in. The AC was a floor model and somewhat loud. But for the price, it did serve the purpose. Just sleeping over night with a nice shower.
