I should have read the reviews because the rooms have no A/C and it was over 90°F (over 32°C) during my stay. The A/C is controlled by the front desk so we were suffocating in our room. Felt like it was turned off around 3am because I woke up and the room was super hot again. That alone is enough to ruin the trip! Additionally, the sink was clogged. I let the front desk know as we were leaving for the day that the sink was draining very slow and they said they would take a look at it. We came back and it was the same. We ended up brushing our face and teeth in the shower because it was so bad. I would avoid this place unless there is nothing else.

The room is nice and clean but very small with low ceiling. I think Thu’s is typical of hotel rooms in Venice. The front desk is nice and helpful. The breakfast is good with friendly staff. The hotel is located about 15 minute walk from water bus stop and 30 minute walk to the train station. Have a small carryon with good wheels. The ground is bumpy and there are steps up and down whenever you encounter a bridge. You don ’t want to be pulling a large luggage and lifting it up and down the stairs. You can walk around main attractions from the hotel easily without luggage.

Friendly staff who really listened to my requests and accommodated me as best as possible, plentiful and fresh breakfast. I like that the chambermaid noticed that I had propped up my pillow with a blanket and placed an extra pillow there. I usually ask for a 2nd pillow but it was quite late and I decided a blanket would suffice. Further to the pillows, they were too much on the hard side for me though!.
