Great place for a family. Kitchen has all you need. Comfortable couches. Nice deck, Great views and just a short walk through a quiet neighborhood to the beach.
The neighborhood was quiet, the views are astounding. The area offers so much variety in. Restaurants. The hiking trails are so close here and peaceful to walk. Wineries are plentiful; check out Wind Rose and Harbinger for our favorites. Great stay!
We had a great stay with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson here. The house was exactly as advertised with all the amenities of home, comfortable beds, and cozy places to hang out together. The house was clean and the neighborhood was so quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The views are beautiful. We spent the days exploring the area as the house is just a short distance between Port Townsend and Port Angeles. There was no lack of things to do or see. Our hosts communicated well with us and there were no disappointing surprises. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this house to our family and friends.
We had a terrific stay. Beautiful views and it was clean and comfortable. Wouldn't change a thing. Location was great with access to all we needed and more.
The house had everything you would need and more, very clean, great views from downstairs and up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A bit of a drive into Sequim.
Stayed here while vacationing. Perfect location to visit the Olympic National Park and surrounding areas. We saw eagles and whales from the deck. The house is well outfitted. Peaceful and quiet!!!
Views were better than expected. House was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. House was well stocked, clean, and everything worked! Would love to live here
Loved our stay , the house is cozy. The kitchen had every thing we needed. Plenty of beds for everyone five of us comfortable beds. And our dogs loved it too! Nice dining table that fit all of us provided good conversations and laughter! One suggestion that I would have I’m a senior citizen putting a slip free mat in the the but tub would be nice . Thank you for the stay!
The views are amazing with the water and Mt Baker. Learned about Protection Island - never had even heard of the Island before. Beds are comfy with great pillows. Fenced yard for your pup. Fireplace on the deck ignition does not work so we couldn’t enjoy some wine and the view outside since it was chilly. The fire would have made a difference. Great property for some peace and quiet!
What a pleasant beach house! Lots of room. We were a party of 6 and it felt very spacious for us. House is nicely set up and well supplied with everything you need to meal prep, etc. Terrific views from the deck and upstairs large windows. Nice neighbors in the area and a good stretch of beach for walking. Couldn’t be nicer in my opinion!
Cozy, comfortable and cute! Amazing views of bay in quiet neighborhood. Loved the beach decor of interior. 25 minutes to town of sequim for restaurants and grocery stores or 30 minutes into Port Townsend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. We will definitely return when we find ourselves on the Peninsula. We loved being right in between Port Angeles and Port Townsend.
House was as advertised and views were amazing. Loved seeing the deer and bald eagles. House was clean and well stocked. Fireplace wasn’t working the first night, communicated with the owner, and learned the pilot light needed new batteries. Wifi went down one afternoon/evening which I learned is common during rain/wind storms, but unfortunately made us miss the opening ceremony for the Olympics. The driveway only offers tandem parking, so a lot of musical cars, however the sweet neighbor across the street offered us an extra space. We traveled with 5 and utilized the bed in the loft which was comfy but it gets warm up there, even in winter, and even the slightest of noise is amplified in that space. Would come back, but with a smaller group so we don’t need the loft bed.
Home was nicely stocked, very comfortable, clean, excellent kitchen and open space to living room and dining room.
Neighboor hood was very nice. Good area for walking down to the beach.
And to top it off, we had a white Christmas.
This home was so bright, colorful, and cheery that no amount of rain or clouds or storms (we lost power 2x's) could mar our stay; in fact, it was quite a magical experience to witness a powerful storm on The Salish Sea, all from the warmth & safety of our living room and upstairs bedroom/sitting area. STUNNING views from nearly every window in the house. There were binoculars handy to watch seabirds and ships passing across the water. The kitchen was the best equipped/stocked vacation rental kitchen I have ever visited. The gas fireplace was SUCH a welcome feature, especially when the weather got chilly, it was so nice to cozy up by the fire. Scented candles were provided, which completed the peaceful ambiance for us! Jon, our host, was so helpful and accommodating; he even paid for us to have a lovely dinner out to make up for the loss of electricity during our stay! Wow. I would HIGHLY recommend this home. Have a wonderful time! P.S. Though the house overall was VERY clean, there was one cleanliness issue with the floors. Jon assured us his cleaning team would be instructed to do a more thorough job in the future, and he also sd. he'd refund my cleaning fee (b/c I ended up cleaning the floors myself). The drier had a mind of its own and was kind of a pill to deal with, but we also laughed a lot about it, so I guess that was an indirect bonus! There was a neighborhood cat, Wandering Pete, who will be your best buddy -- though only if you're not traveling with your own cat, as I was. Pete kinda terrorized my cat and as a result, made my vacation less relaxing than I would have hoped, but his owners were lovely people (they brought us fresh crab for our dinner!). For that matter, all the neighbors were such kind and friendly people. Every time we went on a walk, we were greeted so warmly by everyone in the neighborhood. Still, if you are traveling w a cat, unless it is an indoor-only kitty, I would not recommend this home. Some other suggestions to make this fabulous home even better would be to invest in a few throw rugs to warm up the feel of the place. THANK YOU. :)
