"Just returned from a wonderful stay at Chez Mathilde near Verdun. Annie, our host, was absolutely lovely — so welcoming and friendly, and she even treated us to delicious homemade goodies. The house itself was amazing, full of character with beautiful traditional features and immaculate furnishings throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. "Our stay at this beautiful holiday home was great! The terasse had a nice view and was great for relaxing. All rooms were really pretty and the beds were comfy. The house really is something special! The dishwasher was broken, but the host immediately sent someone to fix it, so there was no problem at all. The kitchen was very well equipped and we could really enjoy our time!"

"This house is absolutely spectacular and even better in person than it is in photos! It easily fit our 13 adults with room to spare, and the amenities are incredible. With 2 pools, 2 saunas, a game room, and a gym, our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. In addition, the house manager, Charlotte, was an absolute dream! We took advantage of having the team at L'Artbanne plan our stay and they did a fabulous job. The chef they hired was excellent, and the trips to the champagne houses...

"We stayed with our dog in Dannevoux from 27/12 - 01-01 to escape the fireworks in Holland and we had a perfect stay. The house has really everything you need; dishwasher, washing machine, fast wifi and a comfortable bed. The house is located in a quiet village with footpads leading into the countryside and woods. Verdun and other places of interest regarding WW1 are nearby. We would love to stay again!!"
