Senj is an old Croatian seaside town rich in history and culture.
It is famous for its medieval resistance to the Turks and Venice. A whole series of well-known artifacts, such as city walls, towers and the most famous Nehaj tower, originates from that time. It is located on the sea, it is known for its ten beautiful, natural pebble beaches (Draga, Điga, Spasovac, Ujča, Voda, etc.), wonderful small coastal towns that seem to have remained in some past times (Lukovo, Klada, Starigrad), a wonderful natural monument, the submerged Zavratnica fjord.
