"Nice space for two. We found the bed very comfortable, the streaming setup worked perfectly and was great to have. Wi-Fi was flawless and fast. Nice AC unit as well. Great location, quiet and right on the doorstep of Blackwater and Davis, and just 2 miles to Thomas. Location is great because of the proximity to the restaurants; Ish (at The Billy Motel) is literally just across the road. "

"The cabin had all the comforts of home. Coffee on the porch overlooking the river was a wonderful start to the day and took full advantage of the outdoor grill. We enjoyed our days at the bluegrass festival and it’s a short drive to Blackwater Falls. We will definitely be back. Thank you."

"The home was well appointed. Everything you could want or need and more. The Blackstone Griddle was a surprise that we took advantage of. Like being home, but with a great view of Seneca Rocks. If we are ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay there again. "

"Great place! Whole family (including our dog) enjoyed our stay in Canaan. Turning off the hwy onto a quiet road, and then onto a quieter road to the house, set us up wonderfully for a relaxing weekend. Went on a couple longer hikes, saw Blackwater Falls, s'mores at the fire ring (terrific setup), and a very well stocked kitchen (big deal when we rent) all helped make the weekend a success. Used the grill (brand new Weber!) and had wifi/connectivity as much as we wanted (not much please!). ...

"We arrived for our anniversary vacation with plenty of info and were greeted by a little gift of sparkling wine for the occasion! The house is fully stocked with anything you may need and for groceries the Shop and Save is about a mile away.
