"文化財に登録されるだけあって重厚で趣のある素晴らしい建物です。柱や梁の太さ、床板の厚み、上り框の立派さ、どれをとっても素晴らしい建築物です。ご亭主や女将さんはとても親しみやすくとてもゆっくりくつろげました。お料理は自家製の山菜料理や地元の食材をふんだんに使った物でとても美味しくいただきました。また温泉はさっぱりとした湯上がりでとても温まります。地元の方のお話も聞けてとても良い思い出になりました。家内もとても喜んでいます。また機会があれば是非訪れてみたい所です。"

"This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area."

"The hospitality of Nori-san, Chie, and their family made our stay so enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and shared wonderful details about their beautiful, nutritious, farm-to-table meals. We even got to tour their farm, learn about rice planting, and spot a precious firefly. The house is bright and clean, overlooking rice paddies, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It's also centrally located in Akita, making it easy to visit spots like Lake Tazawa, Dakigaeri Valley, and Kakunodatemachi Samurai district."
