"Our group of four retired ladies very much enjoyed our stay at this updated Victorian home. "Looked like a wonderful place to stay and was looking forward to my stay. That was untul i arrived and found out it was double booked. Had to find my own place with NO help from vrbo. The manager couldn't have been better, but double booked doesn't leave him opions. Would give him a five star. Vrbo gets zero. If i had wanted a hotel rm i would have booked one."

"The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. "

"My wife and I had rented another property and checked in when someone else showed up stating they had rented the property. VRBO screwed up and did not complete our booking and we had to leave. Betsy and David scrambled to complete our booking for their lovely home on very short notice, their very sweet daughter was still cleaning the house. She offered to help carry our bags in! Unfortunately there were many steps on a steep hill down to the boathouse and the water. My wife has severe scoliosis...

"Cindy was very thoughtful throughout our stay. The property was great and everything we needed and more. We asked about a grill before our arrival and she replied that she was sorry and they didn’t have one. However, about a couple hours later she told me she purchased a grill and supplies for us to use! I’ve stayed at many properties before and this is definitely in my top 3 due to the hosts attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Recommend 10/10! "

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"The house is great. We enjoyed playing air hockey in the very nice basement. The backyard is amazing! Very big yard with pool and privacy fence. The lights in the backyard at night are beautiful and a great spot to relax and wind down. We loved it and already booked it again! The host is just great!"
