For the price they charge it is a good place. Facilities are very basic but the rooms are clean and nice views of the bay.

Booked a room with bay view but when checked in they gave a room facing street and lied to me that Expedia messed up the reservation. Reached out to Expedia and when Expedia called them up, they admitted that they got the bay view room reservation instead of a room facing street. Room is clean but the dishonesty is the major downvote for the review score. Basically there’s a risk that you cannot get what you book for.

This is the worse place we ever stayed at! Beware that it is more like an RV park than a motel and it is absolutely NOT a resort! The other guests use BBQs all around and just few feet from the rooms SO be very much aware that the rooms fill with BBQ smoke and in our case my child was coughing non -stop all night long due to smoke! When I explained to the Van Viper's employees about the issue of smoke in the room they just shrugged it off and refused to refund the other two nights which we didn't stay due to unhealthy conditions! We originally booked the place for three nights and stayed only one night since we arrived late and there were no other places to stay. So be very much aware of the BBQs all around the property and especially all the RV 's guests who cook on a open flame. Just horrible fish and smoke smell all around that permeated the beds and room

I was very happy with my room. Being a single female traveler, I was needing something clean and safe. This place was quiet, exceptionally clean, good shower pressure and (with the whole town) provided the sense of safety that was needed. Check in a simple phone call with no hassle as well. There were also two restaurants close by with a wonderful store just down the road. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Location was awesome. It is in a beautiful area of Washington State with access to great beaches and hiking. The room was pretty poor. The Stove and cabinet combination was at least 80 years old. It was a King and according to AI was manufactured in the 60's or 70's. Part of the cabinet was duct taped shut and the other was rusted out. The toilet and shower were cramped, but were clean. The bathroom sink was next to the kitchen sink in the kitchen area. Our friends had a different room that was much nicer. We had a peak a boo view of the water, the friends had a picture window with a full view of the Straight of Juan De Fuca.

Wonderful stay. I wish we had planned a longer stay! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely place to stay for a vacation!
