Beautiful Luxury Home for Rent in upscale Sun Up Ranch Sedona
This gorgeous home has 5200 sf with 5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms. It's on about an acre of land with an awesome view of Gun Sight Rock, Southwest of Bell Rock.
Huge Master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite Master Bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, 2 head walk-in shower, & large walk in closet. 3 bedrooms (queens) are connected to each other with a jack-n-jill style bathroom including an extra deep bathtub. 1 guest room (queen bed) with walk-in closet and has ensuite bathroom. There's also a finished basement with a fold down full size bed as an extra sleep area. 4 fireplaces, one is a kiva style in kitchen, one in living room, & one in basement, all propane. Another is an outdoor wood burning fireplace upstairs on deck. Kitchen is over 500 sf with adjoining open dining room. 2 dishwashers. Laundry room. Excellent backyard patio with 11' island style grill, pergola, outside dining table, putting green, & hot tub for 6 adults. Cornhole & Giant Jenga games. Large nicely landscaped front yard with another putting green.
Finished basement is an additional 980 sf with pool table & full bathroom. Upstairs room is about 500 sf and accesses an upper deck with view of entire Oak Creek valley as well as a pull out twin bed.
House has a total of 7 beds. (1 king, 4 queens, 1 full futon, & 1 twins) Another queen inflatable bed is available upon request and/or memory foam twin mattress.

Best views!

This house is truly amazing. Big and roomy with a wonderful balcony overlooking the red rock. The basement is a great extra space with a beautiful pool table and theater with seating. All nicely appointed and well stocked. House is in an upscale neighborhood close enough to Sedona proper for easy access but just outside the crowded downtown. And the views and backyard setting are so so pretty. We VRBO a luxury home every year in the Fall and this one may be the best one of all. Owner is responsive to any concerns. Overall a very great experience.

Great Christmas Stay!

We held a family reunion. The home had stunning views out the back window and yard and had a wonderful layout for a large gathering. George had the house decorated for Christmas and the home provided plenty of space for six adults. I highly recommend staying her and expect to return (if available) in a couple of years.

Spectacular View

Our group of 8 friends absolutely loved our stay! The backyard was our favorite hang out spot - sitting around the fire pit. What a beautiful view! The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property for large groups.

Great Location with Beautiful Views

We loved the views and the neighborhood. The size of the house was great for us. The property could use some decluttering and more organization in the closets and cupboards and a bit more attention to the small details. The pantry was well stocked. We had an amazing time in the beautiful Sedona area.

Wonderful family/ extended family vacation

Spacious house was great for our family….room to spread out. Appreciated the large kitchen and dining table for 12 of us. All the “toys”…pool, ping pong, putting green were enjoyable. Liked the quietness of the area compared to Sedona. Only compaint was the hot tub was not hot enough.

Oasis away from home

This truly was an amazing house. There was something for everybody from a putting green to a pool table to ping pong to the fire pit. We truly enjoyed every bit of it. Our only regret is not spending more time at house since we were busy exploring Sedona. We will definitely be back.

Great for extended family

The house was large and worked very well for our family of 13 (5 kids ranging in age from 19-15) and 8 adults. The kitchen and outdoor space, as well as two large living spaces, were fabulous. We did bring an airbed for an additional bed and we needed it. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. And the Clark's market just down the road made it so convenient to get to the store, etc. Thank you for a wonderful spot to celebrate Christmas as a family.

Absolutely fabulous for a large group

When we weren't off exploring Sedona, our group spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard, dining al fresco in the shade of the patio cover or just relaxing by the lovely water feature with the red rock mountains in the background. Wish we had discovered the little park at the end of Verde Valley School Road earlier as that was a great place splash in the water. Some of the bedding and carpeting and cooking utensils were a little tired; otherwise, this property would have received 5 stars.

Beautiful, spacious home in a perfect location

Our family of 8 adults and 4 grandsons (ages 1-6) thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in this super home. This was the celebration of our anniversary (delayed 1-1/2 years thanks to COVID) and also one grandson’s 3rd birthday. Our mid-Jan, 2023 featured sunshine, rain, snow and gorgeous hiking vistas. We found MLK weekend to be crazy busy in Sedona but not bad around this property at Oak Creek. Our grandsons loved the spacious upstairs and the dads enjoyed ping pong in the garage. We had a great time and would love to do it again.

Fun for all

This house was a perfect for our game loving family. My spouse and I met my siblings and nephews for our first annual family vacation. Ages ranged from 60 to 11 and there was something to love for everyone. Coffee on the patio watching the sunrise each morning was so peaceful. We held a Family Olympic competition, taking full advantage of all the amenities. There were many nearby hikes for all skill levels. Yes, some people had to share a bathroom, but don’t let that deter you. This home far exceeded expectations and I would definitely rent again when in the area.

FAMILY VACATION

Everything was good. The only challenge we had was in back yard. It would have been helpful to know that there is a ravine that runs behind the property. There is no fence so it was not safe for the little kids. The bridge that crosses it was also broken.

Spacious home with great views. Short drive to town and activities.

Great outdoor space. Fire pit, hot tub and lots of outdoor seating to socialize and enjoy the view. Kitchen and dining area were large for dining in. Bedrooms and bathrooms not ideal for 4 couples. Large master with on suite. 2 kids rooms plus office turned bedroom share a Jack and Jill bathroom. 5th bedroom was off the living area with attached bathroom. 4th bathroom was downstairs in game room. Despite this slightly awkward sleeping arrangement we had a great time and enjoyed spending time together in this home. Thank you, George!!

Amazing

Stayed with a group of 5 couples and a an additional friend to do some mountain biking. The house is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the trail head at Bell Rock. There was plenty of room in the garage to secure our bikes when we made trips to Sedona or Jerome. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views from the back patio or the upstairs outdoor space. The house seems more spacious than the listing photos. There was more than enough room for 11 people to coexist without tripping over each other. The outdoor area was the most used after a long day of riding or hiking. Early in the mornings you can see the javelinas passing by. If you’re looking for a place that will house your large group and that is outside of the touristy area of Sedona but close enough for visits this gorgeous home won’t disappoint. The house had everything we needed and the host George was responsive.

Great House with great views, but needs some de-cluttering.

Beautiful home with fantastic views and backyard. The three bedrooms that share one bathroom are a little odd, but since we were a family, it was OK. Would have been nice if there would have been a real bed in the basement to take advantage of the full bathroom in that area. Basement only has a twin futon chair. Other than using bathroom in basement, we did not use this area. One big issue I did find with this house was that every dresser, cabinet, and storage space is filled with the owner’s stuff. Upon our arrival, I was a little worried someone was still occupying the home. There was food filling the garage fridge, coats and hats hanging in the garage entry way door, and every dresser / closet in the house was full of the owner’s personal items. When I rent a vacation home, it would be nice to unpack your stuff and not live out of your suitcase. There was a sign on the fridge to help yourself to the food left in it. But so much stuff was in the two fridges and pantry, it was hard to find a place to put the stuff we brought. Overall, we very much enjoyed the house and it is in very good shape, has great views, and is very comfortable. I personally just found the home a little to lived in and full of the owners personal stuff. A rental home should have some open dresser and closet space. Left over food items should be limited to condiments and unopened food products. Thank you, we did enjoy our stay. We were even greeted by a family of Javelinas on our first morning at the house.

Amazing Views

The house was as advertised. The views were amazing from every direction. The backyard was a a peaceful sanctuary with amazing views and a beautiful waterfall feature with a koi pond that provided the most relaxing background noise of trickling water. This is where we spent the majority of our time at the house. There was also a hot tub to further help relax us. I enjoyed using it in the evenings when it was cooler. We were pleasantly surprised by the local wildlife that was enjoyable to watch, including birds, rabbits, a whole family of javelinas (wild boar) that came around in the mornings, and whole families of deer that freely roamed the neighborhood around dusk. The house was fully furnished and stocked with the basic necessities. It was close to town so food and supplies were easy to obtain. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and we felt safe, which is important for us as a party of four single women. As a side-note: We used a private chef, Nathan Serkland of Thyme and Travel Catering to drop off re-heatable meals daily so we didn't have to cook while on vacation or go to restaurants for every meal. I highly recommend him. His food was amazing!!! It was such a convenience. We enjoyed eating out on the back patio almost every day. So that was the good, now for the not so good (for the sake of being realistic)... the beds, none of us liked our bed. We felt like they were old worn out mattresses that they tried to compensate for by covering them in layers of overly soft foam which just made the beds more uncomfortable and hard to get in and out of due to sinking. You could chalk this up to personal preference. All of us have some sort of back or physical issue so we are particular about our beds. Also, the masterbed was waaaaay too high. I had to get a stepladder out of the pantry to get in and out of the bed. All of the living room furniture was uncomfortable, luckily we didn't spend much time there. The bath towels smelled like mildew (probably from guests letting them sit wet) and the master shower was broke, but there was a nice jacuzzi tub with a hand-held shower attached that can be used instead. There were 2 dishwashers in the kitchen but neither worked, so we had to hand-wash. I notified the owner and he said he would look at them but never came before we left. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
