I stayed as a solo LGBT traveller and would recommend Axel Hotel Berlin, though there’s room for improvement.
The location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly. My Junior Suite was a great size and very quiet thanks to its end-of-corridor location. However, I’d skip the breakfast—it fell short compared to my experience at Axel Hotel Valencia.
Additionally, both the sauna and steam room weren't working during my stay.
Overall, it was still a positive stay and I would return, but fixing the facilities would make it much better.
