「We arrived at this hotel after a 2.5 hour drive from Christchurch by rental car. The very cheerful staff welcomed us, which helped to ease the fatigue of the long drive on unfamiliar roads. The grounds were well-cleaned and very quiet. The sounds of birds singing and the waves crashing on the shore beyond the mountains were pleasant to hear.
We stayed for two nights, and the other guests were also polite and pleasant to greet.

「By far one of the nicest and well equipped sommerhouses we as a family have ever stayed at.
Glorious view of the bay from the spacious living and kitchen, and really nice to master bedrooms and and extra very big bedroom for 3 persons. The beds were very good and it was a quiet place to sleep.
I will very much recommend this to everyone traveling in New Zealand, and we would gladly have stayed longer if we had not already booked for the next 7 days.
