Watersedge Apartment- cosy home by the sea
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment was clean on arrival (though it gets sandy as the week progresses with the beach on the doorstep!). The large living room had ample space to erect a dog crate for our large puppy. Smart TV meant we had access to our favourite subscription channels. Kitchen and bathroom were fine, though heating and hot water controls took some getting use to. Only disappointing aspect was the courtyard, which doesn't appear to get the sun and green patches have built up. We were able to park on the street for most of the week, but free main car park is only a five minute or so walk away. There's plenty to do in Anstruther and neighbouring villages with easy coastal walks and attractive beaches - great for humans and dogs."
Ground Floor garden apartment only a few steps from the shore.
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was very comfortable and it was very clean ."
Tall Ship, Anstruther is a lovely townhouse with excellent sea views
8/10 Good
"This would be a great place for a family with older kids (ages 6+) to stay (no toddlers managing the multitude of narrow stairs). It is close to Wee Chippy (great fish and chips) and the harbor. It is an easy three or four block walk to the Coop for groceries. There are lots of stairs in the unit and there isn't a bathroom on the main floor. So, there is always a flight of stairs between where you want to go and where you are. The management could benefit by using their welcome book more effectively, is there Wi-Fi? If so, what is the code. How is the heat turned on? Directions to the Coop. Little things like that in the welcome book would be very helpful."
The Old Paint Shop Apartment - Centrally Situated
10/10 Excellent
"lovely house, spotlessly clean, has everything you would need. perfectly situated for exploring the east neuk area. recommend dipping in the tidal pools and a visit to the harbour tearoom in crail for soup. cheesy toast shack also worth a visit. parking is not too far away but access is available for unloading/loading. "
