There is no wifi here so communication and getting info wasn't easy. Filipe was flexible about the original 8pm check-time so we didn't have to lug around cases for hours. "Hemos estado muy a gusto en una casa muy agradable y con unos dueños amabilísimos. La zona es muy bonita. Al principio hubo algo de descoordinación con la empresa local que gestionaba la casa, pero una vez allí, todo perfecto. La casa tiene una habitación de matrimonio y un salón grande, en el que pueden sacarse dos camas (de un sofá). Para ir una pareja con 2 niños es bastante cómodo. Además, tiene otro sofá grande. "To begin, Finding the key box was very difficult because the box is concealed behind a bush ( a local resident had to guide us)-never try this in the dark as it would be impossible to find it, many yards from the building where the unit is located. Then, once one makes it to the 8 th floor of building “ C” ( buildings are not clearly marked by the way) the key does not open the door. It’s unfortunately that simple: an impossible task for a paid guest to use the premises advertised & paid for....

"Lovely bright clean apartment. Very close to the Church of Santa Cruz and a lovley shopping street. The Museum is not far either or the university. Museum was well worth a visit, we would love to come to Coimbra and stay longer next time. Thank you David and your daughter for a lovely stay."

"Fantastic characterful property in Cunqueiros. We loved the house, an amazing conversion. The villagers we met were friendly. Nuno gave us really excellent ideas about the sights and events in the area. I’m sure we’ll be back when the weather’s better to try some of the river beaches. Highly recommended."
