You requested an early check in and we left keys. You had a problem using the key which we could not foresee but we always allow early check in and will continue to do so. The dogs were in my private lounge while I was out shopping. Your family sat in the family room and your little girl who you know was desperate to see them was running around and making lots of noise, this excited them. They are very rarely upstairs as we live in basement garden flat. Comments re damp absolutely it is not. The cleanliness you vaguely refer to???? In high season we can not give a refund simply because you had arrived in a bad mood. I asked what I could do to Improve things, I felt so sorry for the little girl. However, you insisted on leaving. It was very strange. I could not. The gentleman I spoke to asked for a refund and said he would ‘leave it at that’ we can not give refunds to avoid negative reviews.

thank you for,positive comments. The stools are tucked under the little table we supply for your own take out etc. Not really intended for looking at the view, your review makes it sound horrid. It is a sea view on third floor, room is are price as non sea view. Regarding decor, this is a Victorian house and the furnishings and ‘strange decor’ (in your opinion) are intentional.

If your room wasn’t ready, only reason would be an early check in which we always allow. We have no control over local water pressure but it would have been fine if you had waited a while.
