"The apartment is around 3KM from Sestriere so if you want to be in the bars for Apres Ski etc maybe not a great choice of location, however i had a car and chose to Ski in Montgenevre instead as better for beginners and its only 25 mins drive. There are restaurants where the apartment is located but you need to book especially in busy periods. The apartment is a bit dated and could do with modernising but its clean, very warm and fine for a week. "

"Excellent value for money. Marco and Ludovico, the property managers, are very helpful and took very good care of us. The room was as described and was comfortable for my 2 sons and I. There is a shuttle bus that leaves the parking fairly regularly in the morning and in the evening that drops you off in Sestriere right outside the recommended ski shop, Passet Sport. "Pros: De complete stilte en de natuur. Het huis met de grote omliggende tuinen, met voorzieningen die je niet verwacht op zo'n geisoleerde plek. Cons: De laatste 3 km van de aanrijroute. Dit was een steile, smalle weg. Gelukkig heeft mijn man geen last van hoogtevrees en kan, ook in de bergen, goed achteruit rijden. Dit is nodig wanneer je een tegenligger ontmoet."
