This is a stunning Historical Law Office from the 1830s directly facing Colonial Park, newly remodeled into a beautiful brick residence with classical details. The home is full of personality with lovely interior design and architectural details around every corner, with the duality of real antiques and modern amenities strategically placed throughout. Sophisticated Historic District Residence made for modern convenience with 2 free parking spots.

This beauty has several oversized gracious rooms, high ceilings, large windows flooding it with light, hardwood floors. This house is perfect for large groups with 9 beds. The ample master suites have large closets, and master baths with double vanities and walk-in showers. The modern kitchen is part of an open floorplan with flowing into the living room.


Property includes:

1) We provide two parking spots in front of the home. Outside of our two spots, it is hard to find free parking this close to the river. Street parking is paid 8-8 but there are always spots available and you can use the ParkSavannah app to pay from wherever you are. There are also several garages very close by. You can also get a visitors parking pass for 14 dollars a day and 24 dollars for two days

Worked out perfect for our group. The location was great, so easy to walk to everything! The owner checked in with us often to make sure everything was ok. My only suggestion is to add more hangers for the closets, otherwise it was clean and comfy.

Great accommodations for our party of eight. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with long-distance friends after a fun day and Savannah. Great location. Never had to use the car that was parked for free in the driveway.

Upon arrival, we found a lock that wasn't operating properly, trash in unlikely areas (tissue in artwork, food debris on floor, etc), and AC was not working properly. All of the vents to the bedrooms and bathrooms had been closed on the lower floor and we could not get the AC to go below 78 degrees at the height of summer heat. The upstairs AC was fine but the those that slept downstairs were uncomfortable. The listing is also misleading as the primary picture is of the living/dining area and it does not represent reality. In the picture you'll see a table with 6 chairs, although the table is there, the chairs are have been replaced with high-top stools that are nearly as tall as the table itself. Meaning if you sit at the stools your legs touch the top of the table and you have no back support. The kitchen island shows 4 bar stools, only 2 were actually there and both were rickety and not usable. The large couch in the picture is not there either, but it's been replaced with another couch and some other chairs, so not a big deal. We did contact property management for the issues and were told that someone would come by and look at the lock, and they did, but it still didn't operate properly. No one addressed the AC, they just asked if we 'opened the vents' that WE told them we found to be closed, and I was told if I wanted to use something other than the stools provided at the dining room table, I could dig them out of a closet in one of the bedrooms.

The property met our needs. Location was perfect with walking distance to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. We probably needed to know that the only way to get upstairs was via a narrow spiral staircase, but we were able to manage it.

We loved it but one thing renters need to know. To get from the bottom floor to the main floor from the inside, you need to go up a spiral staircase. Not an issue for us but it would or could be one for the elderly or people who have a hard time with stairs. We quickly learned it was best to drop off groceries from the front of the house so we didn't have to haul groceries up the spiral stairs. We used the back door for luggage as most of the bedrooms were downstairs. There are two other bedrooms on the main floor. The best way to approach unloading is to look at where you need your stuff to go and that will help you decide if you should drop off from the street parking in the front or the parking in the back. There is some night time street noise from cars and we could hear occasional passersby in our front bedrooms but it wasn't a bother for us. We would rent this property again. Great location.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! The best part was how convenient it was to downtown locations and parks. David helped us with groceries being delivered to letting us drop off our bags a bit early. Loved all the bedrooms as well! Great trip!

The layout was perfect for multiple generations; the grandparents upstairs and the younger adults downstairs. The property was advertised as the member's home. Truly homey and beautifully remodeled. Near everything you could want, an excellent location for young legs and older knees!

We absolutely loved the home, it had everything we needed. Plenty of rooms , we especially loved the bathrooms in each room. This will definitely be my go to rental when I return to Savannah. The property owner was very attentive, checking in on us periodically, great home to stay in.

It was very nice. I did wish there was a regular coffee pot as we like to drink coffee, and we did bring our own. There were coffee pods but not enough for 2 cups each and the coffee was a little weak. It probably suits others needs fine.

The home had great space. Stairs were extremely steep and required much caution. The home appeared clean but had a lot of other guests items lefts behind in the closets and bathrooms. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. The online pictures of the home,for the most part,looked like the actual home.. We had a great time and enjoyed the girls trip. The home is close to River street.
