"We had a wonderful stay here at the 2 bedroom unit at Peachy Villas. The staff were all friendly: Fiar, Vimmie and the woman who cleans. There was enough space for all four of us and the unit was very clean and had everything that we needed. Sunsets from the backyard/beach were amazing. We loved watching the locals (maybe some tourists too?) having fun on the pier outside not far from us. I think it was a nice addition to the One Happy Island vibe. "We had a great long weekend at Peachy Villas! It was a perfect place to get away and enjoy being outside and in the water. Beautiful sunsets every evening. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. My husband very much enjoyed his snorkeling trip. Looking forward to a return visit. Thank you! "

"I was very overwhelmed with how nice and accommodating the staff was and helping out and every way possible. Carlos was a good person for places to go, places to eat things to do, etc. I would stay at this resort on my return to Aruba. I love to being right outside the pool area"

"Lots of room for 4 couples to enjoy Aruba. Location was close to the beach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village. The roof top patio was a great place to wind down of a busy day."

"I do not recommend this resort. We travel frequently and rarely leave anything negative on a review, but always try ot leave feedback that we would have want to have known:
Good: The location and the beach are amazing. The water is basically a screen saver, it is breathtaking. Shanta and the housekeeping staff were wonderful. The buffet was good with a wide variety, and the staff were usually friendly. The gym is very good, but you have to take a shuttle there as it is at the sister property.
Bad: The staff are hit and miss. The front desk is helpful if asked, but not very friendly. The bartenders and rest of the staff basically act like they do not want to be there, and go through the motions anytime you ask for a drink or food. Least friendly front desk and staff I have ever seen.
Ugly: Fresh Lime, it looked good, was heavily advertised and looked nice, but you will never get in. Two of the three restaurants on site require day(s) in advance reservations to even get a seat. We were there 7 days and never got to eat there. So plan on the buffet or going out to eat and paying for it. The Red Parrot was awful and we couldn't get into Fresh Lime. It was even closed on a random weekday. Getting a pool/beach towel is a HUGE hassle. They come from housekeeping and at a certian time, and you only get a certain number (so don't go to the pool and the beach the same day). Never seen anthing like it. Was told that's the "procudure" and basically to live with it."
"The location is perfect, being easy walking distance from, but not in the middle of, the heavy concentration of restaurants and shops. The property is well maintained, with spacious rooms. Beaches and beach amenities are clean and well equipped, with plenty of chairs, palapas, and umbrellas available. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Jesus, who went above and beyond in numerous ways to make our 10th anniversary visit more than special."
"We had such an amazing time at this resort - it's by far one of the nicest in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and service. The staff was so great, the grounds were impeccable, and the location is so convenient to a lot of restaurants and stores. We only had breakfast at the resort (buffet was delicious). I STRONGLY recommend going straight to the beach/pool services desk and reserving your beachside or poolside chairs for the duration of your stay - it's hard to find seats the day-of if the resort is crowded. First row seats are first-come, first-serve - be at the desk the morning of by 6:45AM to get that booking (wasn't an issue for me since I'm an early bird).
My only complaints (if you can really call them that) was that I wish all rooms had full-sized balconies. It would be nice to sit out there at the end of the day and just chill. I also wish I could pick up this resort and plop it down on Eagle Beach. The beach in front of the resort was ok - the water isn't as clear as Eagle Beach and the sand felt more like mud in some parts than sand. Finally, the pillows in the rooms could be better. They were so flat, it felt like my head just went straight through to the mattress. All in all, would definitely come back."
Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort & Casino by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Reynaldo at the front door was amazing. He greeted us each time we came or left. Helped with parking and luggage. Answered questions about the hotel or nearby offerings. Was just "down home" friendly and seemed to genuinely care about us.
I have a cousin who visits Aruba regularly and stays at the Ritz. I think that is indulgent when the Holiday Inn offers such a comfortable facility right in the middle of so many shopping and eating options."
