"A great place for our Family of 5! A short drive away from Oval Beach, and walking distance to Mt Baldhead and the chain ferry made this an ideal location. Inside, we found a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room to lounge in the comfy living room as well as a large dining area. This 1834 home reminds me of the literary works by Vernon Lee, and is the perfect accommodation for art, history, and literature buffs - who will find the charming nooks and crannies of this house perfect for getting lost in. Although there are plenty of modern amenities, we were delighted to be surrounded by beautiful traditional Persian rugs, glowing oil paintings, and various vintage tchotchkes. "WE were looking for a place on the water and close to fine restaurants and shops. Tequila Sunrise fulfilled our expectations and more. The house worked perfectly for both us and my sister with the two tiers of balconies and coffee for the morning. The furnishings made the inside as inviting as the outside. And we cannot say enough about the location. We were in walking distance to Mount Baldhead; climbing its 302 steps was great exercise and the view of Lake Michiganat the end made it worth it....

"Perfect three bedroom home right in the mix of things. Went here will three couples for a weekend of fun and golf. The property is right in the heart of the town, easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Fantastic patio to hang out on. Beautiful neighborhood. Would recommend an defintely stay again."

"This place exceeded our expectations. We were a family group of 13 adults and one toddler and all the spaces were comfortable for hanging out, cooking/eating, and sleeping. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor fire, screened-in porch, downstairs game room, cornhole game, quick walk to the lake, walks along Lakeshore Drive, and quick access to Douglas and Saugatuck. For potential visitors, our activities were: Hiked Mt Baldy, fishing charter (caught King Salmon to feed us all x 3), kayaking...
